Odysseus G. Suarez, son of one of the founding Suarez Brothers, grew up in the business set by his father and uncle. As a kid, he got to help by opening doors to customers and doing chores in the store. However, the most lasting and most important lesson Odys learned from his elders is that the passion to provide the highest quality products and honest service will always keep the customers coming back for life. To this day, it is not rare for a young customer to walk into the store because their parents or even grandparents told them so.

With the indoctrination and a nagging feeling that there is a market for high quality wedding rings, Odys sought to start on a new venture to provide would-be couples with the fine quality wedding rings as they embark on their new lives as husband and wife. Thus, Suarez Wedding Rings was established in 1998 in partnership with his wife, Mylene, at a Cebu downtown location Sanciangko Street. Since then, Suarez Wedding Rings has opened branches in SM City Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu and its first Metro Manila branch at Gateway Mall, Cubao Q.C. and has provided thousands of satisfied couples with wedding, engagement and anniversary rings that they definitely will cherish even long after the festivities are over.
